Organization

Which services are included in the price?

These prices include:
A welcome gift
A welcome aperitif
Stay in half board (3 or 6 or 7 or 8 dinners, nights in double room, breakfasts)
Flat fee drinks during dinners.
Guidance on the road (except for Freedom package).
Luggage transportation for trips between accommodations (if number is > 10 participants).

The price does not include:
The lunches.
The individual room or twin room with 2 small beds (if available). The supplement is € 20( Comfort category) or € 30 (Premium category) per personn and per day.
The possible daily tourist tax (that you will pay directly to the hotel as well as your extras and incidental expenses).
The price of your entrance tickets for visits, that "Mon Tour Motos" will suggest, and subjected to acceptance by the majority of the group.
Your daily drinks.
Airport, railway stain, ferry... pickup.
Motorbike, fuel and any possible highways tolls.
Comprehensive insurance (cancellation, loss / theft of luggage, repatriation, car assistance).

How many kilometers per day?

The tour is charted for an average distance of 220 kms, but we can always shorten according to the wish of the group.

My passenger doesnt want to ride every day. Are there other activities she can do?

We have taken hat possibility into account and as such, MON TOUR MOTOS offers you a NEW SERVICE.

A biker has a passion for biking, and more often than not his passenger isn't enthusist as him, or refuse to share this passion. The biker has then no other choice but travel alone, or stay at home.
How to reach everyone's contentment?
For a flat free, our second guide may occasionally organize activities for the people unwilling to ride for one or several days of the trip.
These activities can include a visit of sights and landmarks, shopping, walks, or carrying them to the picnic place to share our lunch and our itinerary for the afternoon...
Most of our premium hotels offer a pool or a spa. You may also stay at these hotels for a good of rest.
Then, the Husband's passion and the Wife's fun are compatible.
No more restrictions and definitely unforgettable vacations for everyone.

Which is the speed of the group?

We drive at an appropriate speed to the driving level of the group. The applied rhythm allows the discovery of the beautiful landscapes, but nobody gets bored.

Do I have to follow the group?

This will depend on your choice, your place is reserved in the group, but you can always make one or more days individually or set up a subgroup.

Beginners are they accepted?

Drivers must be at least 21 years old and be in possession of a valid motorcycle driving license (category A for the French) since more than 1 year.

For groups of minimum 8 people, everything is possible.

How many people per groups?

5 to 20 people, with a maximum of 15 motorcycles.

Motorbikes

Are all bikes accepted?

Yes, from 500 cc (customs, roadsters, GT, Trails, maxi scooter, etc ...), but for a group of 8 people we can set up a tour with bikes of less than 500 cc (even 125 cc or scooters).

Does Mon Tour Motos take care of my motorbike delivery to the accommodation and return to my home?

Yes, we can arrange delivery and return of your bike (for France and for the rest of Europe).

I do not have a motorcycle, may I rent one?

Yes, we work in partnership with professional renting companies, and we can arrange the booking of rental for you (minimum 6 days). Rental bike service is available for each tours, except "Mediterranean and Dolomites".

Booking / Payment

How can I book?

Registration for a journey is done via a registration form or contract. It implies the approval of general and special conditions. The registration will become effective upon receipt by us of the registration form signed by the customer, and accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the journey’s total cost. The application must be signed by the customer if he is major or if the customer is a minor by his legal representative, with specific description of his quality and details.

Registration of the customer will be done according to the following procedure:

The payment of a deposit of 50 % of the amount of the travel is required:
• by check (payable to "MON TOUR MOTOS” - 50, rue de la Montat - 42100 Saint-Etienne France).
• or by bank transfer (IBAN: FR76 1680 7001 5331 7165 6021 864 - BIC/SWIFT: CCBPFRPPGRE).
Upon reception of your deposit of 50% of the total amount. The company "MON TOUR MOTOS" shall confirm your registration by postal mail, with two copies of the detailed registration form (dated and signed).

When do I pay?

No registrations will be accepted unless accompanied by a payment of 50% of the total amount of the journey.
The remaining 50% will be sent no later than 1 month before departure (date of postmark as proof). No prior notice will be done by MON TOUR MOTOS.
Payments may be made by check payable to ADAPTOURS-MON TOUR MOTOS or bank transfer or in cash when possible, or by credit card with an extra commission of 1 %.
A registration for a journey which remains unpaid within the provided period shall be deemed void and suffers cancellation specified in the paragraph dealing with cancellation.

Luggage / Equipment

Which equipment, clothing should I bring?

Your usual equipment, pants, jackets, shoes / boots, helmet for practice of the bike.

Should I carry my luggage every day on my bike?

No, you don't since we are staying for 2 or 3 days at the same hotel (depending on the package you selected ). If there are more than 10 people, a second guide an its vehicule (7 seats) will be added to the tour.
• Transportation of your luggage to and between the stages.
If you are in a group made up 10 people or less, you are responsible for carrying your luggage to the second accommodation if you selected the 6-days package.

Should I bring tools?

Nothing more than the standard tool kit for your bike.There are tools available in the evening in the truck for assistance. We remind you that your bike must be in good state and have recently undergone a check-up.

Does Mon Tour Motos organize the delivery of my luggage to the accommodation and return to my home?

Yes, you can send us your luggage by mail, carrier or train, and we'll pick it up, and we'll return your goods after the event, at a contractual rate from 50 to 100 €.

Miscellaneous

Should I purchase a specific insurance?

for myself ?
Yes, we recall that our package journeys do not include any insurance. In order to prevent any trouble, we strongly advise you:
to subscribe to the insurance of your choice or to subscribe to our insurance proposed in option in cooperation with Generali and Europ Assistance: Insurance assistance / repatriation + cancellation + stolen luggage. The cost of this insurance is described in a small booklet that can be sent to you on your request. Be aware that insurance premiums are never refundable (in case of cancellation).

No, nothing more than your usual insurance which is obligatory.

Which documents Do I Need?

The national identity card for citizens of the European Union, and passports for people outside the EEC.
